An American duo with pretty big hearts and open for grand adventure. Their vows renewal was in one of my favorite places in Ireland, the Corcomroe Abbey in Clare is just a few miles from the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Dreamy, right? But what’s the point of blabbering on when you can watch their experience and their big big love for yourself.
Carmel + Marcus were the total dream team!
They choose to have their wedding day around the highest mountain in Ireland.
Their families and friends were completely involved to make their big day even more special. It was a true family affair, a coming together of tribes for a celebration of love.
“It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”
― Paulo Coelho
- Dingle Poem -
“From main roads through the pass
and there, beneath,
as if a mountain gate over
a valley, lake or bay
a golden road
to visit a past,
Peig, the Blaskets,
basket of another age
all writers on the island,
of Ireland, vacated
to new lands.
Or round Slea head,
a bleak peak,
a romance with Ryan's
A corner, fluid
of memory and romance,
Now we are too
beyond the word
mountain and sea,
dingle beautiful town.”
- Bernard Kennedy
They dreamed a dream of being married in the Irish countryside, in the woods under the gentle dappled light of the swaying trees, next to the quietly flowing waters where Gearóid grew up, fishing in the softly murmuring currents. All the flowers, Sara's hair & make-up, were lovingly made by her bridesmaids and both families. It was a true family affair, a coming together of tribes for a celebration of love, music by Gearóid's Dad, the wedding celebrant their friend. Dreamy, right?
Somebody who betters you.
Somebody who inspires and encourages you in love and in life,
who pushes you towards dreams and goals You would otherwise ignore
who selflessly sacrifices their time to helping you become a more courageous,
well-rounded and happy human being.
That's sacred. You hold on to a love like that.
- Beau Taplin -
